gm frens,
Been super busy working on LiveArtX. So, here’s a few great reads I’ve discovered lately.
Concoda
This guy hates crypto. He regularly writes articles attacking crypto, Web3, NFTs, etc. It might seem odd promoting his work. It directly goes against this newsletter, and everything I believe in.
But here’s the thing. He makes some valid criticisms. I don’t agree with everything he writes. But there have been a few points that he makes that are really interesting.
It’s easy to get wrapped up in crypto. But it’s only healthy to balance out your views. If you only read 100% positive crypto/Web3 sources, check this guy out.
Here’s a thread he recently wrote that was pretty well-thought-out.
Nat Eliason’s OHM Article
Nat Eliason is one of my favorite thinkers. He has a general-purpose blog, amazing book podcast, and regularly writes crypto articles.
I recently discovered his article about OlympusDAO. He talks about seeing the insanely high interest rates, and dismissing it as a scam. This was my initial reaction too.
Then, he did a deep dive on the Tokenomics that make it work. Turns out, OlympusDAO might be one of the most important Web3 projects… ever.
And to be fully transparent, after doing my own research, I started building a small position in OHM. And as always, this isn’t financial advice.

Why Everyone is Quitting Their Job to Play Videogames
Sorry to be the guy that reads his own work, but yeah... 😅
This article is long as hell. I don’t blame you if you don’t read the whole thing in one sitting (or at all). Medium says it’ll take about a half-hour…
The gist of the article is explaining how “the system” is broken and how UBI is the only way forward. Looking back, it’s surprising to see how much my views have changed.
The system is broken. And the arguments I made still ring true, at least to me. But I’ve come to doubt the solution. I’m not sure if there really is a way to fix the many problems that plague America.
And because the American political establishment is so corrupt, expecting that any solution exists is optimistic. After all, the “what” matters a lot less than the “how.”
The details of a law matter a lot more than the ideology behind it. You can have laws passed in the name of the free market that destroy small business. The 1996 telecommunications act comes to mind.
Or, you can have laws such as the affordable care act. Pushed by Democrats as a “step in the right direction”, but ultimately making the healthcare problem worse for everyone.
It doesn’t matter which political party passes the law. It’ll get butchered along the way regardless.
I used to keep up with politics a lot. But after internalizing how broken things are, I don’t at all anymore. There’s nothing any of us can do about it. The system is broken. And it doesn’t want to get fixed.
That’s why I’ve 100% dedicated myself to Web3. Sure, the systems that control our lives right now are broken. But with Web3, we have the power to build new ones.
And that, is enough hope for me.
